So Ain became our tour guide for this trip ...
She brought us thru the whole stretch of shops ...
Da Malay traditional wear was the main theme there ...
It was everywhere man ...
Baju Kurung comes in different size , patterns and designs ...
For kids , teenagers & adults ...
Foral patterns , plain color , squares design , stripe patterns & etc ...
The designs come in all sort of shapes and sizes ...
Carpets , curtains , decorative items , toys and not to forget , FOOD ...
Damn it la ...
We could only see & smell da food coz we were too full liaoz ...
ta ma de ...
But "DenDeng" caught my attention when we were walking down the shops ...
So what's that ? ...
It is the Malay version of Ba Gua ...
Of coz its not pork ...
Chicken & beef Ba Gua ...
Smells nice ...
But too bad I was too full ...
I enjoyed myself today ...
Able to experience the Malay culture ...
Able to feel the Hari Raya spirit ...

Learnt some new words today when I was @Geylang Serai ...
"Pileh" which means choose ...
"Murah" which means cheap ...
So the shop keepers will shout "Pileh Pileh Pileh !! Murah Murah Murah !!" ...
Which means to ask people to choose what they want and the items are cheap ...
Interesting right ...
